Good to know

Is my data really private?

Yes. No account, no ads, no tracking, no analytics SDKs. Your app selection and balances stay on your device and are never sent to us — Apple’s opaque tokens mean even Attenya can’t see which apps you protect. We run no servers that receive your data.

Why does it need Screen Time access?

Attenya uses Apple’s Family Controls / Screen Time to lock and unlock the apps you choose. That permission is what makes the protection possible — and it never leaves your device.

What’s free and what’s Pro?

The core loop — earn, withdraw, auto re-lock, the vault and crystallizing — stays in the Free tier, with no subscription and no extra cost. Pro adds Deep Focus (extra apps blocked while you focus), Free Time windows, Lockdown times with Sleep Guard, the Focus filter, Scheduled Lock (extra apps blocked on chosen days and times), the smart earn ratio, switchable Setups, deeper stats and export, premium themes and the full archive. The exact split between Free and Pro features may evolve with future updates; the app’s current App Store listing is authoritative.

Can’t I just disable it when I’m tempted?

Attenya is a commitment aid, not a prison. The unlock is always possible on purpose — the value is that it’s a decision with a small, deliberate friction, not a reflex. Schedules and the vault add as much or as little resistance as you choose.

How do the subscription and free trial work?

Attenya Pro is available as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time purchase. Eligible new subscribers may get a 7-day free trial on the monthly or yearly plan — Apple confirms eligibility before purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled, and you manage everything in your Apple account — cancel anytime. The one-time purchase has no trial, does not renew and has no recurring charge. It unlocks the Pro features identified as such at the time of purchase; we won’t revoke access you bought just because the one-time option is later withdrawn from sale. Refunds are handled by Apple.

Does it work on iPad?

Attenya is built for iPhone and runs on iPad in compatibility mode. A native iPad layout is on the roadmap.
